My name is Saraluz, or just Sara if that's easier to remember. I was born in Glendora, CA, and lived there for 14 years before I moved a town over to San Dimas, and I've been there ever since. I very much feel like a product of my environment, in the sense that living in the suburbs is generally quieter, with occasional disturbances. I am that way. However, once I'm comfortable with somebody, guarantee they will get to go through the trials and tribulations of knowing the other side of me that's probably too comfortable. Aside from who I am socially, I find myself drawn to a few different hobbies. I was in archery for a couple of years, and I hope to pick it up again. I've found some peace in writing (usually whatever is going on in my head) and photography. I have an old Pentax K1000 my cousin Daniel gave to me, and getting to know how to use it has been tricky but rewarding once I get in the darkroom and start the developing process. It's like magic watching your photo start to appear just from a chemical process. As for my other "hobby", I wouldn't call it a hobby but more of a necessity; I've been regularly going to therapy for a few months now. I would consider myself an anxious person and I'm also dealing with some familial grief. I didn't anticipate getting vulnerable on a Blogger bio but as I said one of my hobbies includes spewing out whatever is in my mind. Well, I would just like to say that therapy has made it possible for me to sit in front of my laptop and write this bio. I understand that it's damn hard to ask for help but it's worse if you let it fester. I've found that I don't give myself enough grace and that I am the only person who won't forgive me. But hopefully, the future becomes a little more bearable for me and I hope you, whoever is reading this, can go easy on yourself as well.
